The AceOn PES Lite is a portable power station Uganda builds for its own conditions — a 120 Wh sodium-ion unit, made in Uganda, that keeps phones charged, radios on and LED lights burning wherever mains power is missing or unreliable.
Inside the carry-anywhere ABS case is the same non-flammable chemistry as the rest of the StamiNa+ range, rated at least 3,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and operating from −40°C to +70°C, charged from an AC adaptor or a solar panel.

Everyday power for phones, radios and lights
The PES Lite carries two USB-A sockets sharing 5 V at up to 2 A. That is the everyday end of off-grid power: the devices a household or a small business actually depends on, rather than heavy appliances. It stores 120 Wh — 10 Ah at 12 V nominal — and meters it out over USB for as long as the charge lasts.
How long a charge lasts depends entirely on what you plug in, so we do not publish per-device run times — a figure measured on one phone or one lamp would be wrong for yours. Tell us what you need to run and we will answer plainly for that device.
Phones

Readable at a glance, simple to run
The controls are a rocker switch and a press button — nothing that needs a manual. Press the button and an LED bar shows how much charge is left. A green LED means the unit is on; a red LED means it is charging.
There is no fuel, no fumes, no noise and no starting procedure. Switch it on, plug in over USB, and switch it off when you are done.
Charged from the mains or the sun
The PES Lite charges from an AC adaptor where mains power is available, or from a solar panel where it is not. The battery management system handles the charge, cutting off at 15.8 V, and protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature conditions.

Cycle life is measured at 80% depth of discharge — a different metric from the soft packs’ ≥5,000 cycles at ≥70% capacity; the two are not comparable. Safety: do not disassemble, crush, puncture or short-circuit. Do not dispose of in fire or water.

The PES Lite is made in Uganda by AceOn Renewables Africa — a Ugandan clean-energy company, locally owned and locally led, at Smack View Plaza on Entebbe Road in Kawuku, Wakiso District. It is assembled by local teams trained to AceOn standards, backed by AceOn Group UK and its 30+ years of British battery expertise.
