The evening no longer ends at sunset
For a home beyond the grid, light after dark usually means something that burns. There is a cost every week, smoke in the room, and an open flame in a house with children in it. The light itself is poor — enough to move around by, not enough to read by.
This kit replaces all of that with light from the sun. Children can do their homework in the evening instead of racing the daylight. A shop or a stall can stay open past dusk, which is often when trade is best. A family can move around their own home safely. And because the power bank has USB sockets, phones charge at home rather than at a kiosk that charges by the hour.
The economics are the part that tends to decide it. Paraffin, candles and kiosk charging are a cost that never stops. Sunlight is not. After the kit is bought there is nothing further to spend — no fuel, no refills, no metered charging — and nothing to go wrong that a family cannot see and understand.
That is why this is the product we are proudest of. It is not the biggest battery we make, but it is the one that changes a household’s day.

Panel size, lighting output and cable lengths are matched to the order rather than fixed, so a school hall and a single household do not end up with the same package. Tell us the setting and we will confirm the exact specification for it.
The battery at the heart of it
The power bank is the AceOn PES Lite 120Wh — a finished, fully specified product we sell on its own, not something built only for this kit. It is rated at least 3,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and operates from −40°C to +70°C, and it is made in Uganda.
Its chemistry matters for something that lives in a family home: sodium-ion is non-flammable, with no lithium, no cobalt and no nickel, and no thermal-runaway risk. A press-button LED bar shows the charge remaining, and two USB-A sockets charge phones alongside the lighting.
